Job Description
Remote with National travel – ACCEPTING APPLICANTS NATIONWIDE\\nOur client delivers high-quality leadership, management, and professional development programmes, supporting learners to achieve ILM and CMI qualifications up to Level 7.\\nThey are now seeking an experienced ILM – CMI Tutor & Assessor to join the team. This is a blended role, working both remotely and in person, delivering engaging learning, supporting learners, and assessing management qualifications.\\nKey Responsibilities\\n * Deliver engaging ILM/CMI management training (remote and in-person workshops).\\n * Tutor and support learners through their qualification journey.\\n * Assess management NVQs and qualifications up to Level 7.\\n * Manage online learner portfolios, provide timely feedback, and record assessment decisions.\\n * Motivate learners to progress and achieve their qualifications within agreed timescales.\\n * Conduct professional discussions, observations, and questioning to assess competence.\\n * Provide constructive feedback and developmental support where required.\\n * Sign off learner achievements once all requirements are met.\\n * Maintain accurate records of learner progress in line with awarding body standards.\\n * Attend team meetings, CPD sessions, and standardisation events.\\n * Work collaboratively with training staff, assessors, and employers to maximise learner success.\\nPersonal Specification:\\n * Recognised Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent).\\n * Relevant management qualifications (minimum Level 5; ILM/CMI Level 7 or equivalent desirable).\\n * Significant management experience (minimum 3 years).\\n * Strong IT skills and confidence in using platforms such as Google Workspace, HubSpot, Slack, and e-portfolio systems.\\n * Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.\\n * Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and meet deadlines.\\n * Passion for supporting others to succeed and develop their careers.\\nDesirable:\\n * Internal Verifier qualification (V1/IQA or equivalent).\\n * Experience in assessing Construction Management NVQs (advantageous but not essential).\\n * Experience delivering management apprenticeships.\\nBenefits:\\n * Competitive salary.\\n * Performance-based bonus scheme.\\n * Travel expenses covered (mileage & accommodation where required).\\n * Flexible working (blend of home-based and in-person delivery).\\n * Ongoing CPD and development opportunities (including delivery of wider training programmes).\\n * A supportive and collaborative workplace.\\n * The chance to expand your portfolio into NVQs, ILM, and a wider range of industry qualifications
