Location: Worcester (office-based with customer travel)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Manager to support our clients sales team and manage a small portfolio of accounts while working towards monthly and annual sales targets. The role of Junior Account Manager offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in B2B sales within a growing organisation.

Our client delivers high-quality training and consultancy across a wide range of sectors, partnering with government bodies, technical IT firms and higher education institutions. Their expertise spans project and programme management, IT service management, technical IT and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers by interrogating accounts and arranging meetings in line with KPIs
  • Manage and grow a minor portfolio of customer accounts
  • Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs
  • Promote our clients services and solutions to prospects and customers, primarily over the phone
  • Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and face-to-face meetings
  • Understand customer business objectives and identify sales opportunities
  • Produce accurate quotations and maintain CRM data and sales documentation
  • Communicate professionally via email and internal systems
  • Participate in training and coaching and apply learning effectively

About You

Essential:

  • GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • At least 2 years successful experience in a B2B sales or similar role
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently while following guidance
  • Well-organised, reliable, and customer-focused

Desirable:

  • Higher education qualification (degree, HND, or similar)
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems with minimal supervision
