Our client is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Construction Multi Skills Tutor to inspire the workforce of tomorrow. Ideal candidates will have a multi-trade background (Plastering, Joinery, Bricklaying, or general multi-skills) and experience delivering multi-skills courses. A passion for engaging learners and supporting their development is essential.

What Our Client Is Looking For:
- Industry-recognised construction or multi-skills qualification
- Post-16 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve)
- English & Maths at Level 2 (or willingness to gain)
- Strong vocational experience within the construction sector
- FE teaching or training experience desirable
- Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
Main Responsibilities:
- The Construction Multi Skills Tutor will plan and deliver the Level 1 multi-skills curriculum, supporting a diverse group of learners. Key duties include:
- Delivering engaging, practical construction sessions
- Planning and tailoring lessons to meet learner needs
- Creating individual learning plans and supporting progression
- Providing pastoral care, advice, and guidance
- Using varied teaching methods to engage different learning styles
- Ensuring all delivery meets quality and compliance standards
- Monitoring and recording progress, giving constructive feedback
- Promoting a safe, inclusive environment aligned with safeguarding and equality standards
- Meeting achievement, inclusion, and progression targets
- Conducting risk assessments and maintaining safety
- Duties may evolve over time, and flexibility—including travel to other sites—is required.
Responsibilities as a Construction Multi Skills Tutor will be reviewed regularly as part of Continuous Professional Development.
