About Our Client:

Our client is a rapidly growing Group Training Association with centres in Lincolnshire and Humberside. They work with over 300 client companies and deliver Level 3 engineering apprenticeships and upskilling programmes, partnering with leading names in engineering and manufacturing to develop the next generation of talent. Partnering with industry leaders in engineering and manufacturing, they are dedicated to advancing engineering training locally, regionally, and nationally.

About the Role:

They are looking for an Electrical Instructor with a high level of industry experience who can deliver high quality engaging learning. The successful Electrical Instructor will work with their existing instructor teams delivering high quality commercial courses for our client companies. The courses to be delivered include, but are not limited to:

  • Essential:
  • 18th Edition
  • Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (2391)
  • Basic Electrical Maintenance
  • In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT testing)
  • Health and safety courses
  • Safe Isolation
  • Desirable:
  • PLC
  • Instrumentation
  • CompEx
  • High Voltage

Who We’re Looking For:

The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years industrial experience with the ability to develop new course content and materials. Relevant qualifications at Level 3 or above in the sector are essential. Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.

Location & Travel:

Your primary base will be Hull, with occasional travel. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
