Purpose of the Role
As an Electrical Installations Lecturer, you will deliver outstanding teaching and learning that enables students to achieve their full potential. You will play an active role in curriculum development, course design and the continuous improvement of the Electrical Installation provision, whilst supporting learners throughout their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging and inclusive teaching across Electrical Installation programmes.
- Embed English, maths and digital skills within vocational learning.
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that inspire learners of different ages, abilities and backgrounds.
- Prepare and maintain schemes of work and assessment plans.
- Teach to an agreed timetable, which may include evenings, Saturdays and summer delivery.
- Design and develop high-quality learning resources, including lesson materials, assignments, assessments and digital content.
- Assess learner work in accordance with awarding organisation requirements, ensuring fair, accurate and timely assessment.
- Participate in internal verification, moderation and quality assurance activities.
