Our client seeks an External Quality Assurer to ensure SIA-linked qualifications are delivered to the highest standards. The role ensures that all Approved Centres meet requirements set by our client, OFQUAL, and the SIA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance of Approved Centres delivering SIA-linked qualifications.
- Carry out on-site audits to review delivery, assessment, and administration practices.
- Sample learner evidence to confirm competence and public-safety standards.
- Produce clear reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
- Provide expert support on compliance, assessment practice, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with internal teams to improve qualification delivery and assessment.
- Support malpractice investigations and events for Security Centres.
- Attend joint visits with third-party bodies such as the SIA when required.
- Maintain sector competence through CPD and participate in standardisation activities.
- Undertake other reasonable duties to support effective operations.
OTHER DUTIES
- Comply with all health and safety requirements.
- Safeguard and properly use any equipment provided by our client.
- Keep knowledge current regarding legislation, procedures, and best practice.
- Participate in appraisals and training as required.
- Uphold equality, diversity, and professional conduct standards.
- Represent our client professionally and support its charitable mission.
