Overview Our client is seeking a skilled and organised Assessment & EPA Coordinator to manage the effective planning, scheduling, and administration of assessments across apprenticeship programmes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring learners are fully prepared for assessment and that all activities align with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative, learner-focused organisation delivering apprenticeship training and qualifications across the UK. Employee Benefits * 25 days annual leave plus public and bank holidays * An additional day off for your birthday * 3% employer pension contribution * Health cash plan * Employee discount schemes * Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) * Wellbeing and mental health support * Option to purchase up to 3 extra days of leave * Appreciation gifts and staff recognition * Employee referral incentives * Flexible hybrid working arrangements Key Responsibilities Assessment Coordination * Organise all internal and external assessments, including formative, summative, mock, and End Point Assessments (EPAs) * Schedule and track assessments in line with apprenticeship standards and EPAO (End Point Assessment Organisation) timelines * Serve as the key point of contact for EPAOs, assessors, tutors, and learners * Book assessments with Awarding Organisations and distribute relevant communications to all involved parties Data Management & Compliance * Collaborate with internal teams to uphold assessment quality and compliance * Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as Ofqual and the Department for Education * Regularly update MIS and e-portfolio platforms to reflect learner status Learner & Staff Support * Manage Invigilator scheduling and coordinate the secure handling of examination materials * Organise the safe storage and timely distribution of exam papers and certificates * Provide support and clarification regarding EPA processes and readiness requirements * Assist in running mock assessments and coordinating gateway preparation activities Reporting & Process Improvement * Generate reports on assessment status, EPA bookings, and certification outcomes * Share results and relevant feedback with trainers, tutors, and coaches * Identify opportunities to improve processes and support implementation of best practices * Contribute to audit and quality assurance activities relating to assessment delivery Essential Criteria * At least 2 years’ experience in coordinating assessments or EPAs within an education or training environment * In-depth understanding of apprenticeship standards and assessment procedures Desirable Criteria * Experience working with Awarding Organisations or EPAOs * Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., Ofqual, DfE)
