About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Construction Plant Operative Trainer / Tutor to join their team in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction plant professional looking to move into, or continue within, a training and education environment.

The successful candidate will use their practical industry experience and technical knowledge to support and develop learners pursuing careers within the construction plant sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training and tutoring to learners within construction plant operations.
• Provide practical and theoretical instruction across relevant construction plant disciplines.
• Support learners in developing the skills, knowledge and competence required for employment within the construction industry.
• Plan and deliver engaging training sessions in line with relevant qualifications, standards and awarding‑body requirements.
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
• Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate training and assessment records.
• Ensure training is delivered in a safe, professional and inclusive environment.
• Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety throughout all practical training activities.
• Support learners with their development, progression and employability.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other industry professionals to ensure an effective learning experience.

About You

We are interested in hearing from candidates with a strong background in construction plant operations, combined with relevant training, tutoring or assessment experience.
