We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join our team. This hybrid role requires candidates to be within a two-hour commutable distance of Swaffham, Norfolk.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our pharmaceutical and NHS customers. This may involve working within our CSO division or in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies through joint-working agreements, donations, or collaborative projects.
You will oversee the day-to-day management of key accounts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Additionally, you will proactively identify and capitalise on sales and business development opportunities, driving success for both our clients and NSHI.

- Business and project management
- Develop and secure approval for business plans
- Deliver project KPIs, profit margins, and budgets
- Identify customer opportunities to maximise revenue
- Manage projects independently, contributing to senior/client meetings
- Generate client invoices where necessary
- Ensure a flexible service tailored to customer needs
- Create and develop new business opportunities for NSHI
- Potentially manage and mentor Account Managers

Experience and competencies
- Degree-level education or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry/NHS
- Strong track record in business planning and project management
- Knowledge of NHS structure, procurement, and commissioning
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Commercially aware and customer-focused
- Ability to operate at board level in a complex private sector organisation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- UK driving licence (max 6 points) and willingness to travel nationally and globally
