Who we are

National Safety Academy is a fast-growing organisation in the training and compliance space, helping raise professional standards through high-quality accredited qualifications delivered across the UK. We’re building a business that moves quickly, cares deeply about quality, and genuinely wants to improve the industries we work in. We’re ambitious about where we’re heading, and we’re looking for someone who’ll thrive in helping to build it with us.

The opportunity

You’ll work directly with the founders across operations, customer experience, projects, compliance, and business growth. Some days you might be improving internal systems, other days launching a new course, solving operational problems, or helping shape entirely new ways of working. We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out, taking ownership, and making things happen.

There’s no “perfect background” for this role. We care much more about mindset, initiative, and energy than whether your CV ticks every box.

You’ll probably thrive here if…

  • The idea of building things from scratch excites you
  • You naturally spot opportunities to improve how things work
  • You enjoy both strategy and getting stuck into execution
  • You like autonomy and don’t need constant direction
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving environments
  • You challenge the status quo instead of accepting “that’s how it’s always been done”
  • You push yourself personally as well as professionally

What you’ll be working on

  • Customer experience - You’ll help create an exceptional experience for learners and prospective customers - whether that’s resolving issues, improving communication, or building better systems behind the scenes.
  • Projects & growth - From launching new training courses to improving operations, you’ll help drive projects across the business and work closely with the founders to turn ideas into reality.
  • Operations - You’ll help streamline and improve the way we work internally across training delivery, sales, systems, and compliance and get stuck in with all aspects of the business.
  • Compliance & quality assurance - You’ll support important academic and compliance functions including malpractice, reasonable adjustments, special considerations, audits, and quality assurance processes with accrediting bodies.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Someone who takes ownership and follows through
  • Comfortable switching between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Experience in education, compliance, training, or regulated industries is a bonus
  • Experience with financial administration or bookkeeping is also a bonus.

Why join us?

  • Work directly with the founders and gain exposure to every part of the business
  • Have real influence in a growing organisation where your ideas genuinely matter
  • Fast-paced, varied work with huge opportunity for progression
  • Flexible working and a high-trust environment
  • A team that values initiative, ambition, and good people

Benefits

  • Training & development allowance
  • Work from anywhere for up to 1 month each year
  • Potential to earn profit-related bonuses
  • Health insurance / Vitality cover

Interested? Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter telling us why you’d be a great fit for the role, plus something you do outside of work that challenges you or pushes you outside your comfort zone. We love hearing about the things people are passionate about beyond their day job. Applications without this aspect unfortunately won’t be considered. If this sounds exciting but you’re not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Some of the best people don’t tick every box on paper.
