The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Research Executive/Analyst to join our entertainment research team, based in the UK but part of a larger global team with offices across the US. This role will focus on film audience test screenings and TV series content testing across the UK and international markets—partnering with some of the world’s top studios and streaming platforms, who trust us to help shape and optimise the content and campaigns that fuel cultural conversations. You’ll dive into both qualitative and quantitative research, helping answer big strategic questions about what audiences want, what resonates, and why. From crafting surveys and discussion guides to transforming data into powerful stories that answer key strategic questions for our clients, you’ll be hands‑on throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Impact

  • Support all phases of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including research design, questionnaire and discussion guide development, data analysis and storytelling.
  • Partner with internal and external operations teams (programming, fieldwork, facilities, moderators, data processing) to drive projects forward on stringent timelines.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient delivery and operational excellence of ongoing client‑facing programs.
  • Assist with translating data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story‑driven reports.
  • Help drive quality control processes at each step of the research lifecycle, from checking survey programming logic, questionnaire proofing, number checking and proofing reports and presentations for accuracy.
  • Attend and support the smooth operations and reporting at in‑person test screenings in and around London, and occasionally in international markets (which involves international travel).

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience – 1+ years working in consumer insights, consumer research, strategy or a similar role. A strong focus on entertainment is preferred but not required for this position.
  • Your degree(s) – A BA/BSc in Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics or a related field. Additional degrees are welcome!
  • Passion – A passion or desire to learn about entertainment. You enjoy staying up to date on industry trends and developments.
  • Writing and Storytelling – You can connect the dots and turn complex research findings into clear, compelling narratives, explaining what they mean and why they matter.
  • Curiosity and Critical Thinking – You are genuinely interested in seeking the “whys,” always digging for information to understand what makes consumers tick. You love to learn.
  • Data Driven – Comfortable working with data – structured and unstructured – to identify trends and insights. Experience visualising data with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Slides preferred.
  • Problem Solver – A natural problem solver who looks for solutions rather than seeing roadblocks.
  • Self‑starter – Proactively gets things done, stays focused on next steps.
  • Flexible and Resilient – Adapts to fast pace and shifting timelines, thrives under pressure.
  • Expert Multitasker – Manages time and competing priorities to meet deadlines. Highly organised.
  • Clear and Proactive Communicator – Excellent verbal communication, asks questions and shares viewpoints.
  • Hawk‑eyed Attention to Detail – Ensures high quality control and reporting.
  • Great Team Member – Collaborative, supportive, enjoys remote and in‑person interactions.
  • Data Analysis Techniques and Software – Familiarity with statistical significance testing, correlation, cluster/segmentation, conjoint/discrete choice. Experience with SPSS or similar packages is a plus.

Location Necessity and Screening Attendance

Though a remote/hybrid company, the role requires attending test screenings in and around London multiple times a week, including evenings and weekends, and occasional international travel. Willingness to travel and compensate for weekend screenings is required.

Position Type

This is a full‑time, salaried position.

What We Offer

  • Flexible/Remote work with optional use of central London office.
  • 25 days of paid holiday, UK bank holidays, plus recharge days and full office closure during Christmas/New Year’s.
