Overview

In this hands-on role, you will identify causes of production issues, drive practical improvements, and help standardize manufacturing processes. You’ll work closely with floor teams and management to implement corrective actions and ensure proper calibration and control of measurement equipment. You will develop documentation, SOPs, and training to institutionalize improvements. This position sits onsite within the local business unit, blending continuous improvement with broader manufacturing responsibility. You will shape efficiency, standardization, and timely delivery through cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Identify process inefficiencies and production problems, investigate root causes, and implement improvements
  • Develop, maintain, and standardize procedures, work instructions, and SOIs
  • Coordinate calibration, maintenance, and documentation of measuring and monitoring equipment
  • Create and maintain controlled production documentation, including SharePoint content
  • Collaborate with production teams, engineering, and management to address process constraints and risks
  • Analyze performance data to spot risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Support new product introductions with process setup, readiness assessment, and training documentation
  • Provide training on processes, SOIs, and technical topics
  • Identify tooling and equipment needs and justify suitable solutions
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions through to completion to improve yield, workflow, and on-time delivery

Key requirements

  • Relevant manufacturing experience with continuous improvement, process improvement, or production engineering
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies, investigate problems, and implement practical improvements
  • Experience developing or maintaining procedures and work instructions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capability with end-to-end action follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with production teams and management
  • Good IT literacy and ability to work with systems for production/process documentation
