As a Labourer in the Flexibles division based in Glenrothes, you will play a key support role in maintaining an efficient and safe production environment. You will be responsible for material cutting and preparation, as well as providing broad support across departments through tasks such as cleaning, assembling, lifting, and moving equipment. This hands-on role requires a proactive approach to customer service, supporting both the site and production teams to ensure operational continuity and high housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate designated machines while maintaining HSE and housekeeping standards.
  • Prepare and cut materials to meet production demands.
  • Operate forklifts for movement of pallets and pipe throughout the facility.
  • Support machine operators and assist fitting and maintenance departments as needed.
  • Keep the facility clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Move components efficiently to appropriate workstations to ensure continuous workflow.
  • Empty swarf containers and assist with general site duties.
  • Follow all company policies related to quality, safety, and workplace procedures.
  • Participate in travel and other tasks as required by the business.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Essential:
  • Forklift licence including pipe handling
  • Banksman and slinging qualification
  • Full driving licence
  • Forklift experience with various movements of pallets and pipe
  • Experience in a labouring or workshop assistant role within a manufacturing environment
