About the Role
As a CNC Operator (Milling) at Flexibles Glenrothes, you will manufacture precision-machined components, primarily subsea connectors and other oilfield equipment, for both internal and global third-party customers. You will manage your own productivity, support technical services, and operate milling processes with a strong customer-focused mindset. This role provides a pathway to becoming a multi-disciplined machinist through hands-on experience and training in turning and horizontal boring.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate designated CNC milling machines safely and competently.
- Manufacture components within specified tolerances from engineering drawings.
- Perform own tool setting and interpret technical drawings and electronic images.
- Plan and schedule workload in alignment with weekly production targets.
- Participate in daily team briefs, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Accurately record job route time entries and report quality issues.
- Engage in training opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support chargehand in identifying and eliminating non-conformance areas.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of all required documentation.
- Adhere to 5S principles and inspection procedures.
- Contribute to manufacturing efficiency and cost reduction efforts.
- Attend toolbox talks and provide holiday/absence cover as required.
- Travel when necessary and perform other duties as directed by line manager.
