This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You\’ll be part of the go-to team for a wide range of administrative and operational needs, from arranging travel, meetings and workshops, to supporting wider business processes and activities.You\’ll work closely with colleagues across the Business Support Team, ensuring continuity, efficiency and a seamless flow of operations that helps NOC deliver its mission.About you To thrive in this role, you\’ll need to be an experienced and adaptable administrator who can balance multiple priorities with confidence and professionalism. Strong organisational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs will be key, as will maintaining discretion when handling sensitive matters. You will have a background in high-level customer service to a range of teams, experience dealing with complex travel arrangements, have advanced skills in Microsoft Office, good communication skills and ability to work independently.Salary This range is provided by National Oceanography Centre. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Location This position will be based in Southampton. The centre is well connected by public transport and has ample cycle parking in addition to free onsite car-parking with over 40 EV charging points.The NOC has a hybrid working approach where for most positions staff can work from home up to 2 days per week.
