This role is part of our Archaeological Archive team and is based in both our Hackney Store and London Museum Spaces at one of the most exciting points in the Museum’s history, as we undertake a huge project to prepare and relocate our collections.

The Project Supervisor (Archaeology) is a key part of a dedicated team and will focus on overseeing the preparation and management of the Bulk and Osteology collections move while keeping business as usual activities going. The role will also be responsible for working with the wider collections management professionals around the museum who are all working to achieve a busy and complex move and installation programme.

The Project Supervisor (Archaeology) will apply their experience in archaeological and osteological collections moves, working closely with the Archaeological Archive Manager, the Archaeological Archive Team and the wider Museum team to ensure the Bulk and the Osteology Projects are delivered to high standards.

The role includes managing team targets and priorities, stock control and management, planning and organising the move of the two collections in collaboration with the Collections Move team, managing and communicating with external stakeholders.
