Role Purpose

We’re looking for a Payroll and Data Integrity Officer to join our People & Culture team during an exciting period of transformation as we implement a new Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Working closely with the Systems & Payroll Manager, you’ll support the monthly payroll process, maintain accurate employee data and play a key role in improving data quality and supporting the implementation of our new HRIS.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working with payroll, systems and process improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the delivery of the monthly payroll and process payroll changes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records across HR and payroll systems.
  • Carry out data audits and produce routine people and payroll reports.
  • Support HRIS implementation through data preparation, migration and testing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality.
  • Work collaboratively with People & Culture, Finance and IT while maintaining confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

Key Experience, Skills and Criteria

  • Experience in payroll, HR administration, HR systems or data management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and working with large volumes of data.
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • CIPP qualification.
  • Experience with pensions.
  • HRIS implementation or data migration experience.
  • Experience within the charity, public or cultural sector.

This role is initially offered on a fixed-term basis.

However, there is potential for the position to become permanent in the future, subject to the implementation of our new HRIS and a subsequent review of the role’s scope and requirements.
