London Museum has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Collections Move Technician, with an excellent understanding of art handling and museum technical services, coupled with the ability to provide expert advice and solve complex technical problems.

Working with a dedicated decant team and based at London Museum Stores in Hackney, with travel between sites as required, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work on the preparation and large-scale collections move project, sharing your experience of collections packing, object handling, and management of Museum Technicians to achieve the high standards that the project requires.

We are looking for a committed and proactive individual with experience in working with museum collections to join our team of collections management professionals working to achieve a complex move and installation programme. We are looking for someone with line management experience with a good awareness of how to create and maintain a positive working environment in a deadline driven and fast-paced environment.
