The National Gallery’s Learning Team brings people and paintings together. Would you like to explore creative ways to engage audiences, gain hands‑on experience, and develop new skills? We’re looking for two Creative Learning Trainees to join our team in early 2027. These are new entry-level roles offering practical experience in art education and Gallery learning. You don’t need prior experience in a museum or gallery; we’re interested in your enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to learn. Day to day, you’ll welcome schools and families to The National Gallery’s Roden Centre for Creative Learning and support our Programmers and Educators to deliver inclusive learning experiences which help people of all ages to engage with paintings and their own creativity. Throughout your time at the Gallery, you’ll work across different programmes, learn from colleagues, and build your skills and confidence. Each role is part‑time (four days a week) on a fixed‑term contract of up to 22 months and includes working on one weekend day.
