Job Description
Cleaner | Part time | 25 hours
Salary: £17,467 (pro rata based on full time equivalence of 35 hours at £24,454) (£13.38 per hour)
Hours: 25 hours per week | Five days across Seven
Shifts: 7am-12pm (Monday – Friday) and 8am-1pm (weekends)
Location: National Museum of Scotland,Chambers Street, Edinburgh

About the Cleaner role:
At National Museums Scotland our cleaners are an essential part of our team. For us, every sweep of the brush is a step towards perfecting the customer experience. Our cleaners are relied upon to ensure customer facing and employee areas are clean and tidy and that our visitors experience the sense of pride we instil within the organisation and our staff.
As a Cleaner at National Museums Scotland you will:
* Carry out a variety of cleaning / housekeeping duties across the museum
* Contribute to an overall positive visitor experience
* Operate cleaning machinery / equipment as required
Skills and experience we’re looking for in our Cleaner:
* Understanding of cleaning and hygiene techniques and procedures
* Proven experience of working within a team environment
* Proven previous relevant cleaning experience
* Ability to follow standard operating procedures
