As Digitisation Team Leader at Amgueddfa Cymru, you will oversee a team of Digitisers, working closely with the Project Manager and curatorial staff to ensure the consistent, high-quality digitisation of our herbarium and entomology collections. Practical and technically confident, you will guide colleagues, maintain imaging standards, and help drive the programme forward — making a lasting contribution to how Wales's natural science collections are accessed and used by researchers worldwide. This role is part of the DiSSCo-UK project, funded by UKRI. DiSSCo UK (Distributed System of Scientific Collections) is a £155 million, 10-year national programme to digitise and connect the UK's natural science collections, delivered by the UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) in partnership with the Natural History Museum and more than 100 partners across the UK.
