Job Summary
We have a new temporary position working on the Mollusca collections at Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales.
The successful candidate will be digitally imaging our most important type specimens and their associated labels. The shells and other specimens come from land, freshwater and marine environments and span over two hundred years of collecting. Different imaging systems will be used, depending on the size of the specimen(s). This work feeds into our long-term aim of making all of our mollusc type material digitally available on the Mollusca Types in Britain & Ireland website, funded by the John Ellerman Foundation:
