We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Registrar to support the Museum's Collections Development programme. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in collections management within a museum or heritage environment. Working as part of the Registrar's team, the Assistant Registrar will play an important role in the effective management, documentation, care and accessibility of the Museum's collections. The post holder will support the delivery of the Museum's inward and outward loans programme, undertake collections auditing activities, and assist with collections management projects, including the ongoing relocation and organisation of the Museum's collection stores. In support of the Museum's strategic objectives and Accreditation commitments, the successful candidate will help ensure collections are managed, documented and developed for public benefit while promoting wider access and engagement. The post will be based at our London site. Travelling between the Museums' three sites will be necessary when required.
