As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Transforming IWM Duxford Masterplan, coordinating activity across multiple projects and workstreams to ensure successful outcomes.

Working closely with project teams, stakeholders and partners, you will support programme governance, reporting, scheduling and stakeholder engagement, helping to keep projects on track, within budget and aligned with organisational objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major initiatives, including the launch of the Digital Zone (Home of the Spitfire), the delivery of the new Second World War exhibition and the development of future exhibitions and visitor experiences.

You'll help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards, directly supporting IWM's mission to help people understand conflict and its impact on people's lives.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Support delivery of major masterplan projects, including the Digital Zone (Home of the Spitfire), the Second World War exhibition project and the Cold War & 21st Century exhibition development.
  • Coordinate project activities, reporting, governance documentation, risks, issues and project plans.
  • Work with colleagues, contractors and specialist suppliers to support exhibition installations, collection moves and site improvement projects.
  • Manage project documentation, schedules, action logs and financial tracking information.
  • Produce clear and accurate reports that support decision-making and programme oversight.
  • Help monitor project budgets, forecasts and procurement activity.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across Collections Care, Estates, Exhibitions and other teams.
  • Support stakeholder engagement, project meetings and communications across the programme.
