This is ongoing locum role

  • Mon – Fri, + On call rota, 1 in 10 weekday and 1 in 10 weekend, average 45 hours per week
  • Great location with local accommodation available if required
  • Easily accessible by public transport & car
  • Only 60min from Cardiff
  • Less than 30min from international airport

Range of duties:

  • Ward patient management on the Hyperacute Stroke Unit (HASU) and Acute stroke unit (ASU), TIA clinics
  • Bleep holding responding to thrombolysis and thrombectomy calls and supporting bi-weekly Consultant Board Rounds at the Stroke Sub Acute Rehabilitation Units

Requirements:

  • GMC, entry on specialist register will be advantageous but is not a must
  • Minimum 1 year of NHS experience on Consultant level (candidate must be able to work independently)
  • Escalated Pay rates, above average possible, various payment models acceptable
