Role Highlights:
- Scope: Diagnostic surgical pathology, multidisciplinary team meetings, and potential involvement in autopsy services (negotiable).
- Facilities: State-of-the-art laboratories with digital histopathology, voice recognition software, and opportunities for remote reporting further down the line
- Team: Join a team of 13 consultant histopathologists and 2 specialist registrars.
- Workload: Approximately 40,000 histopathology cases annually across two sites.
- Schedule: 10 PAs (8 DCC, 2 SPA) with a flexible timetable—no on-call commitments.
Ideal Candidate:
- FRCPath or equivalent, with full GMC registration and CCT in Histopathology (or within 6 months of completion).
- Strong experience in routine histopathology reporting and specimen dissection.
- Interest in sub-specialisation (desirable but not essential).
