Responsibilities:

As a Paediatric Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

1. Patient Care:
   • Delivering high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
   • Administering medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
2. Assessment and Planning:
   • Conducting thorough assessments of paediatric patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualised care plans.
   • Involving parents and guardians in care planning and providing support and education.
3. Collaboration:
   • Working closely with paediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
   • Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and contributing valuable insights to patient care plans.
4. Documentation:
   • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC registration.
• Paediatric Nursing qualification and a passion for paediatric care.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in paediatric nursing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
