Responsibilities:
As a Paediatric Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Care:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to paediatric patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Administering medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
- Assessment and Planning:
- Conducting thorough assessments of paediatric patients and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualised care plans.
- Involving parents and guardians in care planning and providing support and education.
- Collaboration:
- Working closely with paediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and contributing valuable insights to patient care plans.
- Documentation:
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC registration.
- Paediatric Nursing qualification and a passion for paediatric care.
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in paediatric nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
