We are looking for a committed Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to support its General Adult Psychiatry services in the West of Scotland, with an additional opportunity to contribute to the Learning Disability Service.

Role Overview:

  • 8 sessions per week in a primarily outpatient capacity for General Adult Psychiatry
  • Option of 2 additional sessions in the Learning Disability Service
  • Participation in a 1:8 on-call rota is required

Requirements:

  • Approved under the Mental Health (Scotland) Act (AMP status)
  • Valid, clean UK driving licence
  • Minimum 6 months UK clinical experience

To be considered for the role, it’s a requirement that the hospital have the following documents:

  • Full GMC registration
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 referee contact details who we can contact to obtain a reference in Psychiatry
  • Occupational health clearance
  • DBS/PVG (formally known as CRB)
