About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Radiology with a sub-speciality in Interventional Radiology to join our team in the Northwest UK for a fixed-term contract from 24th June 2024 to 30th September 2024. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized radiological care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions using interventional radiology techniques.
- Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures with precision and care.
- Conduct general radiology duties, including imaging interpretation and reporting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- Specialist training and accreditation in Radiology with a sub-speciality in Interventional Radiology.
- Proven experience as a Consultant in Radiology, particularly in interventional procedures.
- Strong clinical and technical skills in both interventional and general radiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
Work Arrangements:
- Full-time: Includes both Interventional Radiology and General Radiology duties.
- Part-time: Includes General Radiology and Interventional Radiology duties.
