Job Description:

  • On-site work would be preferable, but remote working is acceptable.
  • There would ideally be a 3-day on-site period at the start of the booking for induction purposes.
  • Full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council.
  • Completed postgraduate training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases or Microbiology, or equivalent experience and competencies.
  • Minimum 1 year NHS experience or 3 years non-UK Consultant experience.
  • Commitment to team working and career development.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative.
  • Able to prioritize work and adapt to change and uncertainty.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • FRCPath or equivalent qualification; UK CCT is advantageous.
