Microbiology Locum Consultant Position Near London
I’m seeking an experienced Microbiology Locum Consultant for an ongoing assignment near London, with potential extension after 3 months.
Working Hours and Responsibilities
- Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Responsibilities include Blood Culture, IPC, Serology, ICU, emails, calls, and ad hoc tasks
- 1:3 on-call rota (clinical calls day and night) with flexibility to cover other areas if needed
- Fridays at CXH involving bench work at CXH Lab
Location Benefits

- Less than 1 hour from the international airport
Requirements
- GMC registration; entry on the specialist register is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience in infectious diseases
- Minimum 1 year of NHS experience at Consultant level, able to work independently
- Must be onsite
