We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum ST3+ Doctor to join a dynamic and supportive Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team based in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-acuity environment while enjoying the flexibility of locum work in one of Northern Ireland’s leading healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to critically ill children admitted to the PICU.

  • Participate in ward rounds, emergency admissions, and multidisciplinary team discussions.

  • Liaise with consultants, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Contribute to the on-call rota, including nights and weekends as required.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with local and national guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Minimum ST3 level or equivalent in Paediatrics or Anaesthesia with PICU experience.

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Recent experience in a Paediatric or Anaesthetics setting is essential.

  • ALS and APLS/PILS certification desirable but not necessary.
