About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in General Paediatrics to join our team in the Merseyside region. This role is available immediately and will cover the period until 3rd September 2024, with a view to extend. The successful candidate must be available for a full rota, including nights, on-call, weekends, late shifts, and normal working days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and management for paediatric patients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for paediatric conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for paediatric patients.
- Conduct outpatient clinics, consultations, and follow-up appointments.
- Participate in emergency paediatric care and manage acute presentations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- Experience in General Paediatrics at the specialty doctor level.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
