About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Clinical Haematology to join our team in the Northwest UK. This is a full rota opportunity covering our service from 5th August 2024 to 31st October 2024. On-call responsibilities will be discussed at the point of booking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and management for patients with haematological conditions.
- Conduct clinical haematology clinics, including patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Assist in haematological procedures and therapies as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Participate in teaching and training junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- Experience in Clinical Haematology at the specialty doctor level.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
