About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in General Medicine to join our team in Wales. This is a full-time position available immediately, running initially until December 2024, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, with on-call responsibilities required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive general medical care to patients.
- Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient ward rounds, and follow-up appointments.
- Manage acute medical admissions and emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and support junior medical staff and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- CCT in General Medicine or equivalent.
