Consultant Interventional Radiologist needed for a hospital in the South-West. We are seeking a Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a busy and well-established imaging service. The successful candidate will contribute to both interventional and diagnostic radiology, supporting multidisciplinary cancer care and providing expert imaging interpretation across a broad range of modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality interventional radiology services, including interventional oncology procedures
- Provide diagnostic reporting across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Plain Film and Nuclear Medicine
- Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to clinical decision-making
- Develop and support subspecialty interests within designated clinical areas
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in the consultant on-call rota
Requirements
- GMC registration with a licence to practise
- CCT (or equivalent) in Clinical Radiology
- Experience in oncological imaging and interventional radiology
- Strong diagnostic reporting skills across multiple imaging modalities
- Experience participating in and/or leading MDT meetings
- Commitment to teaching, research, continuing professional development and clinical governance
