Previous Experience
- Essential: Demonstrate good nursing skills, Accept personal accountability for own practice, Understanding of evidence-based practice, Understanding of Clinical Governance, Intermittent catheterisation, Continence care, Experience providing Gynaecology care
Skills
- Essential: Good verbal and written communication skills, Capable of working as an integral member of a small team, Flexible and adaptable to changing situations due to both workload and colleagues’ needs, Ability to undertake teaching of staff and patients, Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload; effective time management, Effective interpersonal skills, Commitment to multidisciplinary working
- Desirable: Surgical/procedure assistant skills, Counselling/communication skills to deal with sensitive care issues, Knowledge of Gynaecology subspecialties, Urodynamics certification
