National Locums is currently hiring Consultant Dermatologists and SPR/Associate Specialists to cover the below:
- General Dermatology
- Paediatric Dermatology
- Minor-ops
- Biologics
- 2ww clinics
- Skin cancer
- MDT meetings
Pay rates start from £800 per day and go up to £2500 per day. As most of this work is private clinic-led, you will be paid via your limited company, umbrella or self-employed. The post is for 3 months up to 1 year.
Must be able to see general dermatology patients directly referred by GPs, undertake appropriate investigations, diagnose their conditions, and recommend treatments. When appropriate, refer the patient back to their GP with advice for on-going management. When appropriate refer the patient for a Senior Consultant Dermatologist opinion, Plastic Surgeon or Dermatology Specialist Nurse.
Work in conjunction with and support the dermatology nurse specialist through joint review of patients and provide advice on dermatological cases. Undertake diagnostic biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage and cautery procedures. The successful candidate will have nursing support during their clinics.
