The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychiatric care to patients with complex eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). Working closely with our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, dietitians, therapists and nurses, you will provide clinical leadership, drive service excellence, and ensure patient-centred outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Responsible Clinician for inpatients under your care

  • Complete initial psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, risk assessments and discharge planning

  • Attend weekly MDT meetings and CPA reviews

  • Provide leadership and supervision to junior medical staff and MDT members

  • Contribute to service development and CQC compliance

Requirements:

  • GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist ideally with a CCT in CAMHS

  • Previous experience working with eating disorders in a specialist setting

  • Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status (or eligibility)

  • Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills
