NLS is a well-established law firm committed to providing high-quality legal aid services to vulnerable clients. Our Children Panel Supervisors and Solicitors are dedicated to supporting individuals through some of the most challenging periods of their lives, delivering expert legal advice with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a guardian following to work for a Family Law firm specialising in Care proceedings along with mentoring and running your own team.
The Role:- Supervise and support solicitors, trainees, paralegals, and legal assistants within your team.
- Maintain a personal caseload of Care matters.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
- Conduct file reviews and ensure quality assurance procedures are followed.
- Maintain excellent client care standards and professional conduct.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Children Panel Accreditation – or working towards.
- Experience of mentoring and/or managing junior staff.
- Strong advocacy, case management, and client care skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Legal Aid Agency procedures and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage a demanding caseload while supporting a team.
