National Learning Group is looking for a confident and organised Finance Assistant to take ownership of cash collection and aged debt management within our growing finance team.

This is a newly created role, giving you the chance to shape processes, build strong routines and make a real impact from day one.

What Youll Be Doing Key responsibilities include: managing customer payments, chasing outstanding balances, maintaining the aged debtors ledger, agreeing payment plans, preparing statements and debt reports, resolving customer queries, and helping improve credit control processes.

Skills, Experience and Abilities required Were looking for someone who has previous experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable, with the confidence to manage customer conversations professionally and sensitively.

Whats On Offer Salary from £25,500

£28,000 (depending on experience).

A permanent, full-time role based in Gateshead. 37.5 hours per week The opportunity to take real ownership of a newly created credit control role.
