Overview

In this role you will shape digital products and influence strategy to solve meaningful business challenges for food safety and supply chain confidence worldwide.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate needs into requirements, guide data-driven decision making, and drive AI-enabled opportunities.

You’ll lead complex initiatives across the product portfolio and mentor a team of Business Analysts, delivering measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis across digital products, translating needs into clear requirements and user stories
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities, ensuring alignment with strategy and customer needs
  • Support product delivery from discovery to release, including testing, sprint planning and continuous improvement
  • Use data and insights to evaluate performance, define success measures and support evidence-based decision making
  • Help shape AI-enabled opportunities by identifying practical applications, risks and business benefits
  • Coach and support Business Analysts, promoting best practices and building team capability
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, problem-solving and user-focused thinking
  • Key requirements
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a software or digital product environment
  • Strong Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) and user story development
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience defining KPIs, success measures and product outcomes
  • Ability to coach or mentor others
  • Strong Excel and SQL skills with data-driven decision making
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Jira, Azure Dev Ops or similar tools
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI and responsible AI practices
