We are looking for a SEO Manager at the LGC Group, in this role we are looking for someone to play a crucial role in improving our organic visibility and driving balanced digital growth. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead keyword expansion including technical and content optimization initiatives! We are also looking for someone to manage relationships with external agencies and ensure ongoing performance improvements across our digital channels. Your role will be pivotal in aligning SEO and GEO/AIO strategies with broader marketing and business objectives to increase discoverability and strengthen search engine performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and carry out thorough SEO and GEO/AIO strategies for owned media, addressing on-page, off-page, and technical aspects aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead data-driven SEO and GEO performance analysis to find opportunities, track important metrics, and provide actionable insights to improve organic visibility and website performance.
  • Manage keyword strategy and content refinement via comprehensive research and content proposals to achieve search-focused, user-centered digital experiences.
  • Optimize technical SEO excellence by reviewing Search Console insights, validating technical fixes, optimizing site speed and structure, and ensuring guideline implementation.
  • Coordinate tracking and analytics implementation, guaranteeing GTM event coverage, data quality validation, and comprehensive funnel and behavioral measurement across GA4 and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate efforts with external agencies and vendors to deliver SEO/GEO campaigns, technical audits, link building initiatives, and performance improvements aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Partner with web product management, marketing, and engineering teams to apply SEO/GEO recommendations, embed guidelines, and ensure optimization is coordinated across the digital experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing SEO/GEO roadmap by staying ahead of industry developments, algorithm updates, and new technologies to proactively find opportunities for optimization and growth.

  • Strong knowledge of website structure, technical performance elements, and UX principles, with the capability to recognize and address SEO/GEO challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex SEO/GEO and technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical collaborators.
  • Strategic problem solver who can connect SEO/GEO efforts to overarching business aims, promoting ongoing digital expansion and competitive advantage.

Qualifications

  • Verified background in directing SEO/GEO efforts within B2B, eCommerce, or dynamic digital landscapes, with a record of boosting organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • Strong technical SEO/GEO skills, covering site layout, schema markup, performance optimization, mobile functionality, and troubleshooting technical challenges.
  • Experience with leading SEO/GEO and analytics platforms, including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, and related research and reporting tools.
  • Proficient in keyword research, competitor analysis, website audits, and content optimization, with a strong grasp of UX and its influence on search performance.
  • Experience coordinating with external SEO/GEO agencies/vendors and partnering across functions with web product management, development, and marketing team members.
  • Strong analytical ability with the capacity to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to guide decision making, supported by good communication and partner management skills.
  • Formal qualifications in marketing or a related field are required. Relevant SEO/GEO certifications and hands-on experience with CMS platforms, HTML/CSS, and modern SEO/GEO experimentation are also needed.
