Overview
National Merchandise, a division of Nottingham Ice Centre Limited, works with some of the biggest non-venue and festival organisers in the world, bringing merchandise to music and entertainment fans at events including Download, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Isle of Wight, British Summer Time, Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, Electric Picnic, Leeds & Reading festivals and many more.
We are looking for Outdoor Festival Merchandise Assistants to set‑up and work at Reading Festival.
T‑shirts, hats and tote bags will be some of the items you will be selling to concertgoers.
Responsibilities
- Set‑up merchandise stalls and operate them during the festival.
- Sell a range of items including T‑shirts, hats and tote bags to concertgoers.
- Manage stock and handle cash and point‑of‑sale transactions.
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude towards customers.
- Camps on site (unless local) and manage personal transport to and from Festival.
Qualifications
- Over 18 years of age.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with challenging customers.
- Previous retail or customer‑service experience a plus but not essential.
- Full training will be provided.

This is a camping festival; you must be happy to camp on site or be local.
You are responsible for making your own way to and from Reading, but staff parking can be arranged if you drive a vehicle.
