We are looking for Concert & Events merchandise assistants to join and are able to work with our teams at both of our Birmingham venues (BP Pulse Arena & Utilita Arena Birmingham) with shifts being available from Mid-September onwards.
A typical day in the life of event merchandising would see you count in a quantity of merchandise from our clients and partners visiting our venues, assist creating visual displays for customers and upon doors opening sell the stock at set prices to the general public, counting back and boxing the stock to clients for them to continue onwards with the tour, and making our stations ready for our next event.
As a merchandise assistant you would be regularly available for most/all of the planned merchandise sales events on the arena calendar schedule, with approximate start/end times normally being from 17:00-00:30. You would be selling merchandise in a busy environment to the public on stalls, escalating any customer queries/complaints to your stand supervisor. You will be able to remain calm under busy sales periods and undertake mental maths at point of sale and handle cash accurately.
It is important to us that you are able to fulfil the entire shift time but also get home after your events safely; so driving is beneficial, but not essential & parking is available on both sites, you must be available for the full duration of shift times.
No event is too large or too small for National Merchandise! We cover all level of events from a small programme sporting event, to vast large festival and stadium concert merchandise events. We work in some of the biggest arenas in the UK, including the BP Pulse Arena Birmingham & Utilita Arena Birmingham, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Glasgow OVO Hydro Arena, The O2 Arena in London, Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, Manchester’s AO Arena plus the brand-new Co-op Arena in Manchester!

Our Merchandise Assistants receive National minimum wage & in addition you will also receive + 12.07% holiday pay for every hour worked. There are multiple company benefits, including the option to apply for free concert tickets in our home Nottingham Arena where available.
