Job summary:

As a Building Inspector, you will be a key member of our inspection service team, collaborating with registered builders to ensure homes meet NHBC Standards and Building Regulations, while also thriving under your expert guidance.

What you’ll be doing

Based from home but out and about daily, you’ll work with registered builders to ensure new homes meet the NHBC Standards, Building Regulations, and other relevant legislation. You will build strong relationships with site managers, helping to identify and prevent construction defects. Your role is crucial in managing insurance risk and creating quality homes for buyers.

You will receive full training and ongoing support from your line manager and team. You’ll have control over your diary and the autonomy to perform your duties effectively. The workday starts when you leave home, and we do not require weekend work to promote work/life balance.

Education and Qualifications

  • Construction-related qualification such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent (preferred)
  • Full driving license
