Job summary: As a Building Inspector, you will be a key member of our inspection service team, collaborating with registered builders to ensure homes meet NHBC Standards and Building Regulations, guided by your expertise.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working from home but out daily, you will ensure new homes meet standards and legislation, building strong relationships with site managers, identifying and preventing construction defects.
- You will receive full training and support, manage your own schedule, and enjoy a healthy work/life balance without weekend work.

- Relevant house-building or construction experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence and handle disagreements assertively
- Analytical skills for decision support
- Understanding of house building processes and trades
- Physically capable of site visits, including working at heights

Education and Qualifications:
- Construction-related qualification (e.g., City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ) or working towards it
- Full Driving Licence
