This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and develop our new paid-for tours & experiences programme, bringing in vital income to support the aims of the Museum while offering visitors a deeper insight into our collections, galleries, and a world of natural history. Responsibilities will include the co-ordination of existing tours and the development of new experiences for a range of audiences, enhancing the Museum’s public programme and showcasing its work, spaces and collections. The Tours and Experiences Producer will maintain a programme that includes daytime and out-of-hours experiences for both public and private bookings. This position will line manage the Visitor Events & Tours Administrator and Tour Guides and includes co-ordination, recruitment and training where necessary.

The ideal candidate for this position will have solid experience within the cultural sector and/or the co-ordination of tours and experiences that share wonder of their subject matter. This role will be best suited to an individual with a strong understanding of how to optimise commercial opportunities and public engagement. With some background in ticketed experiences, you will have a keen initiative for enhancing and upgrading offers and ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard. To thrive in this role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a flair for curating unique experiences, with the ability to build strong partnerships.
