Specialty Doctor in CAMHS Complex Behaviour Pathway - Barnsley
Permanent, 6 Programmed Activities per week
Southwest Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Specialty Doctor to join the Complex Behaviour Pathway - Barnsley CAMHS based at New Street Health Centre in Barnsley. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the CAMHS. The post holder will be involved in ADHD assessment and other co-occurring conditions such as mood disorder, attachment disorder, and will be involved in pharmacological management, and liaison with partner agencies such as education, social care, primary care, etc.

Salary will be offered in line with the Specialty Doctor national pay scales and will be determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience. Eligibility for sponsorship will be assessed in accordance with Home Office requirements.

Spent a minimum of 4 years (full time or equivalent) in postgraduate training in the UK or equivalent medical experience, of which at least 3 years in psychiatry. At least 6-month experience in CAMHS.
- Desirable: In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice. Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within six months of appointment. Approved clinician status in 12 months time. Extensive experience of ADHD assessment and prescribing.
