Overview
In this Education Practitioner role, you will support education and development for healthcare support workers, working with nursing and allied health colleagues to shape learning that underpins safe patient care. You’ll design and deliver practical and theoretical training, promote inclusive education, and help learners progress along clear pathways. The role sits within the Workforce Development Team, contributing to a culture of professional growth and high-quality education. You will drive impactful learning within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Organise and deliver practical and theoretical clinical training to support clinical competencies
- Facilitate education, training and practice development for unregistered healthcare practitioners and learners
- Plan interprofessional education programmes with nursing, midwifery and allied health professionals
- Develop and refine competency frameworks and learning resources
- Translate learning needs and professional standards into structured learning pathways
- Promote inclusive dialogue and psychological safety in educational settings
- Support integration of educational programmes with corporate education initiatives
